Our focus is The Unsung Hero. In most instances we hear acknowledgement of those in the front, but what recognition does the hardworking behind-the-scenes person receive? Little to none; consequently, this is where the Unlabelled Awards step in. The 2018 Unlabelled Awards will unmask individuals who work hard behind the scenes and bring them to the forefront. We will honor them for their hard work in their respective fields.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lenny Green has pioneered the New York radio market and been on mainstream radio for over 20 years. He is host of the popular radio show The Quiet Storm with Lenny Green. Now, as a syndicated on air personality, over the years, Lenny has interviewed celebrities from music, film, theatre like Patti LaBelle, Diana Ross, Tyrese, Jay Z and more.
Barrier Breaker Award
A mother of seven from New York, Melissa Harville-Lebron is the first woman and first African-American woman licensed to own a developmental and multicultural NASCAR team. Her team consists of the first African-American and Latino developmental team, as well as an active duty Marine, who's Pit Crew has active and disabled veterans.
Fashion Designer Award
Palu is a Season 10 Finalist of Project Runway and Season 3 Finalist of Project Runway Allstars. In the last year alone, he has launched his fashion brand Christopher Palu New York and has shown his collections at both Fall and Spring NYFW.
Songwriter of the Decade Award
Grammy award winning songwriter and producer, with nearly 20 number one Billboard pop singles and a slew of top 10/top 40 hits, Manuel is the songwriting/producing mastermind behind some of pop's biggest hits -including Mariah Carey's record-breaking songs, "We Belong Together," "Always Be My Baby" and "It's Like That." It was also Manuel who gave Usher the chart-topping hits, "You Make Me Wanna," "Nice and Slow" and "My Way".
Unsung Hero Award
Nicole Mckenzie was born and raised on the island of Jamaica. Nicole is a registered nurse who specializes in hospice, home health and holistic Nursing. Nicole is also developing the Kenzie Foundation. A non- profit organization that specialize in aiding with redevelopment of the mental & physical wellness for survivors of incest and molestation. Nicole Mckenzie is based in New York City and works Internationally in the Caribbean island of Jamaica.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Moscatello has played a key role in the advancement of specialized head and neck surgery at Westchester Medical Center. Under his leadership, the Department has become one of the busiest surgical services at the hospital. When not working, he uses his time to Volunteer his services world wide by giving free surgeries to those in need.

Donshea Hopkins is making her mark across all platforms as an actress, singer, dancer, and model. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Donshea began her career as professional actress at the age of four and has since been on some of the biggest hit television shows including POWER, The Detour, Orange Is The New Black, Nurse Jackie, Law & Order SVU, Sesame Street, and David Letterman.
Capture The Moment Award
Rowena Husbands is one of the most sought after and requested celebrity photographers in the business. She has a celebrity clientele that boasts a black book of names only a star-struck fan would dream of having. Rowena is a member of the National Board of Directors for Women of Height Organization and has been featured in the Huffington Post, Global Communicator,The Amsterdam News, Creme & Black Enterprise magazines.
International Survivor Award
With offices in Paris, London, Ghana and the United States, Ashley De La Mode is an international entrepreneur and owner of "De La Mode" records. Ashley has an extensive background in celebrity journalism and working in the beauty industry, with the likes of 50 Cent, Tyra Banks, Dionne Warwick, Bobby Brown and more. She is currently searching for a kidney transplant as she is suffering from kidney failure.
Community Angel Award
Michale is a entrepreneur, philanthropist, and humanitarian, who is also owner/operator of a McDonalds restaurant in New Jersey. She assists with literacy and mentoring programs to enrich the lives of at risk children and partners with Target annually for a “Back to School” supply drive.
Kyle Anfernee is an amazing journalist, media correspondent, talk show personality, panel moderator, actor, voiceover, and speaker. Kyle received his degree in Broadcast Journalism at Pepperdine University. Kyle's the youngest team member of The Shade Room He is also he a special guest every Wednesday on The Real, a popular national daytime tv talk show, in which he delivered a "Cup of Shade" discussing recent celebrity news. Kyle has a very outgoing and infectious personality that everyone loves and he reaches over 20 million people from television to journalism!

She has worked with a coveted list of A-list celebrities, alongside the who's who of makeup icons and has collaborated with some the world's sought out Photographers and Creative Directors.

Martha Luna is a Latina Influencer and fashion/lifestyle blogger, born in Caracas, Venezuela In 2015 she took her first step as a designer and launched a line called the Bilingual Collection in collaboration with Venezuelan designer Astrid Carolina. Luna designed a special swimsuit edition called "La Luna/” which added a touch of her favorite color pink to the collection. These samples were exhibited during New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016. As the CEO and face of her own brand MNYC .
Patricia Robinson currently holds the professional title of Director of Operations for Emmis Communications’ New York/Hot 97, WBLS, and WLIB.
